The sub-committee of the Hokitika School Committee and the Rector met last evening to discuss ways and means of raising funds for putting the school grounds in order. Several ways were suggested, but it was finally decided to recommend that a “Fair” be held at the school on Wednesday, September 2. It is hoped to raise about £BO by this means.
