CHINESE TROUBLES
TWO BOMBS THROWN.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) PEKIN, July 10. The Japanese Alinister strongly protested to the Chinese Government against the Hankow—Kuikiang—Chin-kiang—Glrungki.ig—-Canton riots, reserving the right to demand compensation for loss of life and damage to Japanese property when fully investigated. Two bombs thrown into the premises occupied by AVingkee Company, ships’ coinpradores, at Hongkong, exploded on the counter, which was smashed, together with chairs, windows and desks. There were no casualties.
