One direction in which this is to be done is by each League .incorporating in the. nooklet published by.it an itinerary of the tourist attractions in th* other provincial districts. By this coordinating and reciprocating, it is hoped that when tourists arrive in one part of the South Island they will be induced to visit other parts. Another direction is the proposal to establish in Auckland a South Island tourist and publicity agency under charge of an efficient tourist and publicity agent. Amongst his duties will be that ol meeting overseas steamers on tbjeir arrival and of interesting tourists in the attractions the jSiouth Islaind offers, also to encourage tourists' to include the South Island in their itinerary.
