If but a fraction of this barren land so rich in. tobacco-producing possibilities, were devoted to the culture of the “weed” it would mean the salvation of many a settler and the. riltimate enrichment of the Dominion. The local article is much appreciated by those who had to give up smoking ' foreign tobaccos because of the excess of nicotine, which affected.,their health.
