Donald MacMillan is here for the christening of the Peary, one of two ships equipped with three aeroplanes, which will leave for the North under his.command on June 17. On his return, MacMillan will explore Labrador for Norse ruins, the existence of which has been reported by the Esquimaux. The United States Navy is sending eight men, and the National Geographical Society fire scientists, 'with the expedition.
