In connection with the visit of the Prince d: .Wales to South Africa, the Minister of Justice has ordered the release of, all ;convicts and prisoners sewing original sentences . of six months or less, apd has ordered also remissions, ranging from three months, to nine months, of the sentences above six months, excluding life sentences and indeterminate sentences. This order is effective,,.from iApril 30, the date of the Prince of Wales’s arrival.
