In the-stroke handicap, T. Galloway, who is 18 years'old, and whose father was also coippeting,- retift'necl: a net 75, on the return journey.- one Holder bogey. G. B. Forrest (Tiinaru) also showed up well and returned 76. The others were : J .A. Clements (Hagley Park) 79, 11. R. Blair (Shirley), A. J. Shaw (Wellington), H. Green (Wellington) 80, J..R, Galloway (Palmerston North), F. G. Hood (Miramar) 81, J Mclntosh 82, G. A. Ritchie (New Plymouth), R. C. Butters (Wanganui), B. J. Smith (.Oaniaru) 85. LADIES’ GOLF CLUB. The members of the Grey Ladies’ Golf Club held their annual meeting last evening. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted, the latter showing a satisfactory balance -.in hand. The following were elected a committee of management: Mpsdames J. Griffen, J. Hannan. IV. I"'. McCarthy, A. .Smith (Secretary), F. Shallcrass (Captain). It was decided to re-name the competition cup, the "Omoto” Cup. The cup is plaved for annually in a senior handicap match, the present holder being Miss L. Reynolds. Mr W. L. Patterson, manager of the Universal Sports Depot, will be in Wellington on 'VYednesday next, to select his golfing material. He will he pleased to carry out any suggestions intending buyers may make to assist him in purchasing.—A.D.
