SMALLER NATIONS’ CLAIMS.

PARIS, January 13.
The experts spent last evening in examining the claims of Roumania, Jugo-Slavia and Czecho Slovakia. The final text of the agreement is expected to be available this morning, and a plenary session is fixed for nine o’clock wjien the joint English-French text will be signed-, after which will come the closing speeches. AGREEMENT SIGNED. PARIS, January 14. The Financial Conference has signed an agreement. The Italian and Bfliumanian representatives signed with reservations. A HAPPY ENDING ? . , r LONDON, January 14. The “Daily Express’ k understands that the smaller Powers are most; dissatisfied with, the financial agreement reached in Paris, but a happy conclusion to the Conference is expected this morning, though it would be unwise to build too high hopes. Tire “Daily Telegraph” states that Mr Churchill and M. Clementel have had a further conference, and it is expected that the exchanges will be continued through diplomatic channels, eventuating shortly in some definite step being taken by the two Governments.
