- ; v, k " < U . SENSATIONAL DISCLOSURES. MUSSOLINI BLAMED. (Reuter.) 1 . December 28. A tremendous sensation was caused throughout Italy as the result of the publication of the memorandum by Cesare Rossi, who formerly was Chief of the Press Bureau, in which he paints a picture of unscrupulous violence of the' Fascist Monarchy. Rossi is now la prisoner /accused of being the instigator of the Matteotti murder. Rossi declares - ■ without hesitation that nearly all attacks on opposition leaders were inspired or ordered bv, or executed with, the- knowledge of,. Mussolini. . The memorandum,. however, throws no new light on the Matteotti crime, the connection with which Rossi disclaims any responsibility. The “S.tampa” and some other newspapers say that after such an indictment, it' is incredible that Signor Mussolini should stay in office.
