GREYMOUTH CLUB MATCHES On Saturday at Omoto in perfect weather a niedal match was played in Senior Division and also one in Junior Division together with the final round of Eclectic for Mrs. Harley’s trophy. Following were the best scores:— Senior.—Miss Meldrum 105—23 —82, Miss Reynolds 105—22—83, Miss Hambleton 119—34—85, Miss K. Hannan 119—30—89, Mrs. Shallcrass 108—17—91.' Junior.—Miss Tennent 70—24—4 G, Miss N. Tennent 52—5—47, Miss J. Hambleton 74—24—50, Mrs. Harley 61—10—51. Mrs. Harley’s trophy for Eclectic over 3 medal matches resulted in a win for Miss N. Tennent 50. Mrs. O’Neill came' next with 53, and Miss Cox with 54. The first round of the play off for the Captain Handicap Tournament was played on Saturday, the course being in good order. Smith beat Dennehy 1 up. Cairney beat Kettle 3 and 2. Wild beat Matheson 5 and 3. McKay beat Pratt 3 and 2. Wild and Matheson were all square at the end of 18 holes and played another eighteen holes to decide with the above result. The second round is to be played during the week and the final on Saturday.
