OPERA HOUSE. “A good name is rather to be chosen than riches,” says an old proverb. In Thomas H. Ince’s new picture,' “Her Reputation,” May McAvoy portrays the role of a beauty of New Orleans whose happiness and 1 good name are threatened by a scandal on her wedding day. “Her Reputation,” featuring May McAvoy and Lloyd' Hughes', adapted from the novel by Talbot Mundy and Bradley King, will be shown at the Opera House to-night. Every bridb-to-be, before planning her wedding costume, should see Mary McAvoy in “Her Reputation,” Thomas H. Ince’s newest
screen production. Mis% McAvoy wears the latest word in bridal loveliness in one of the scenes of her picture. It is a gorgeous white silk brocade with a tight “v” shaped bodice and a very lull skirt. The sleeves are long and close-fitting, with a little lace cuff at the wrist of each. An exquisite piece of Spanish, lace forms the high headdress, which is held in place in front by a spray of orange blossom. There is a “punch” in every scene of “Her Reputation.” TOWN HALL. Jack Holt in a five reel Paramount film entitled “Making a Man,” will be shown at the Peerless Pictures in the Town Hall to-night.
