DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIP.

AUCKLAND, Sept. 12. The final iff the Professional Golf Championship was. won by Moss (Auckland) who defeated Mclntosh (Hutt) 5 and 3. The semi-final of the Amateur Championship resulted: — Goss beat 2 and 1; Quin beat Gunson 5 and 2.

LADIES’ TOURNAMENT.

WANGANUI, September 12.

The lady golfers had another fine day for the continuation of their tournament. In the semi-final of the championship, Aliss Bell (Wellington) beat Mrs Collinson (Palmerston North) by 5 and 4; "Airs Orbell beat Airs Grace (Wanganui) by 2 and 1. In the final Airs Orbell beat Aliss Bell, 2 and 1.

In a bogey match, Mrs Broderick and Miss Brandon tied, two down. In the play-off they tied again, and they will play on Monday to decide the winner. In the junior bogey match, Miss Blythe won, 1 down. The putting was won by Miss E. Forlong. AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) MELBOURNE, September 12. The final for the amateur golf championship of Australia was responsible for a great struggle between Sinclair and Russell the former eventually beating the Victorian champion by two up and one to play. A spectacular incident in the match was when Sinclair, driving a ball through midair, struck and brought to the ground a lark. Luckily, his drive was unaffected.
