THE SUN. The sun sets to-day at 5.47 p.m. ; and rises to-morrow at 6.3 a.m. WEATHER REPORT. Taken at Greymouth at 9 a.m. today—Wind, north easterly ; barometer 30.20: thermometer, 47; tides, moderate ; bar, slight swell. Rainfall lOpts. THE WEATHER. For 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day :— “The indications are for westerly winds, freshening from strong to gale. The weather will probably be sqiially and changeable, and heavy rain is to be expected, with rivers rising Shortly. The barometer is falling. Sea heavj on the coast and tides good.”

First quarter 6th 8.16 p.m. Full moon 13th 6.30 p.m. Last quarter 21st 3.5 p.m. New moon 29th 7.46 a.m.
