EMPIRE BUILDING. THE LOYAL WOMAN’S PART. Very few women have, time or opportunity to serve the Empire in a spectacular way. Yet even the greatest stay-at-home can. do her part for the nation’s welfare. Just recently Mr Massey called our attention to the vital necessity of giving preference to goods made within the Empire. He went so far as to say that oui* very life, as an Empire depends upon Empire Preference. Every housewife uses quantities of baking powder in. a year, yet how many can say whether they are buying a British make or not? “K” Baking Powder is made from best British Cream-of-Tartar and is an all-British product. It will stand every test and give finest results. There is nothing better made. Jt may seem a small thing—almost too insignificant to be worthy of our Great. Empire—but the woman who takes the trouble to say “K” when she wants good Baking Powder or Jam, does help to protect the wealth and safety of the nation, as do all who insist on getting British-made goods of any kind whatever.—Advt.
