NEWS AND NOTES
From PARKINSON AND CO., /
Chemists and Photographic Dealers, GREYMOUTH.
There is every indication, by astronomers, we’re told, that this winter will be most severe, and very wet and cold. It’s therefore up to all of us to lay in a supply of coal and coke and firewood to keep us warm and dry. And, as an extra comfort, it is wise to also get a mackintosh and overcoat to guard against the wet. And, if you have cold feet at night, the best thing, it is said, is to buy a good hot water bag to keep you warm in bed. But, if you’re troubled with a cough, Lime Syrup, as 'you know, will give relief. If you’re in doubt,, ask Parkinson and Co. They’ve made it now for thirty years and sell more every season. In fact, it sells itself; the people want it; that’s the reason.
