MEXICO CITY, Dec. 8/ Five States in Mexico have revolted against President Obregon. , The rebels numbering probably fifteen thousand men under the leadership of Generals Sanchez and Huerta have been centred at Vera Cruz, to which Obregan, who has just recovered from a serious illness, despatched loyal soldiers. The rebellion occurred on the eve of the election, and General Calles, who is announced as a candidate for the Presidency, has volunteered to lead the Federal forces against the rebels.
