FATHER’S CRUELTY
YOUNG SON BURNT.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association) MELBOURNE, Nov. 8. Fred Brown of Reservoir was sentenced to three months in gaol for ill-treating his son aged ten years. The child gave evidence that his father was very cruel and had frequently burned tender parts of the boy’s body with a red hot poker, after first making a younger son, aged six, hold the victim.
