VOROWSKI MURDER
BOLSHEVIK CRUELTIES. ‘Australian and N.Z. Cable Association) LONDON, November 8. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Lausanne correspondent says : —The trial of Conradi for the murder of Vorowski was continued. Miss Conradi, cousin of the prisoner, described how their father wa.s taken form his bed at midnight by Bolsheviki, and was afterwards shot. All their belongings were taken away. She gave a vivid picture of life in Petrograd, with its forced labour and the reduction of the population by twothirds, owing to the general distress. Miss Conradi, at the close of her evidence, went to the dock and embraced the prisoner.
