McDonald defeats Harris. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, November 7. A. professional fight took place tonight in His Majesty’s Theatre, when Lockie MacDonald (10. amateur welter champion of Australasia, and Tom Harris (10.2), runner-up m the lightweight championship of New Zealand, met in a fifteen round bout. The fight went the full distance, practically every round being won by MacDonald. This was the first appearance of both men as professionals, and the purse was 75 per cent, of the net receipts.
