THE LAST DAYS
The last days of Pompeii were full of excitement to the people of that period, and few inhabitants of the town lived to tell the tale ; the last days of the great sale at Wonderland arc proving equally exciting to the people of Greymouth, and when Nancarrow and Co.’s auctioneer has completed his task there will be no bargains left. The Wonderland premises have been let to other tenants, and must be vacated. Commencing at 11 a.m. on Saturday, the whole of the stock of crockery, glassware, Doulton. ware, fancy goods, etc., will be placed under the hammer; also a quantity of drapery removed from Tymons and Co.’s premises to make room for new stock. These goods will be sold regardless of cost, and should be seen by hotel and boardinghouse keepers and Um general public.
