IMPORTANT LAND SALE. The attention of those interested in land is directed to an advertisement appearing in this issue regarding a property being offered at auction by Messrs Dalgety and Co., at their rooms, Mackay Street, on Thursday, September 27, at 2 p.m. The area to be submitted comprises 150 acres held under renewable lease and with it 30 dairy cows, (15 gallon separator, to gether with pack harness, and other gear. The late Mr. Dudley specially selected the cattle and the purchaser would be going on to a property that will give an immediate return. The land is in good heart, and is particularly well suited for dairying, and even now there is a strong growth of grass in the paddocks, and will easily carry the 30 head of dairy cows. The property is subdivided into three paddocks, about 100 acres in grass; an additional 20 acres have been felled and will be ready for a burn later on in the season. There is a good four-roomed cottage on the place also. The locality of the property is one that should appeal to prospective buyers. It is near Stillwater where the railways branch off to Grey, Hokitika, Reefton and Christchurch, and must possess a high future value. The auctioneers will be pleased to supply bona tide buyers with any information required and to a suitable purchaser a good portion of the finance can be arranged. —A. I).
