DAFFODIL SHOW
The floral displays made by the State Collieries Horticultural Society arc famous all over the Coast, and the forthcoming Daffodil Show is creating much interest. An exhibition of splendid blooms is expected and will be opened at 2 p.m. on Saturday next, at the Miners’ Hall, Runanga, by the Mayor (Mr. J. Pattinson). Other attractions will include wellconducted tea-rooms, whe.re delicious cakes and refreshing cups of tea may be obtained. A grand concert will be given in the evening by local artists, assisted by the Runanga Silver Band.
