SYDNEY, August 11. The Labour Party executive expelled for lite Mr Bailey, DLL.A., Mr Smith, M.L.C., Mr Buckley, exM.L.A., Aiderman Bramston, city councillor, Air Sutherland, executive member, for the part they played in connection with the Sydney electorate selection, in which a ballot box with a sliding panel was used. Air Minahan, ALL.A., was expelled for two years for knowing of the fraud and not exposing it. SYDNEY, August 11. A lighter laden with nitrate of soda burst into flames at the Sugar Company’s wharf, pyrmont. The cargo valued at £4OOO was destroyed. The lighter burned lo the water line and sank.
