AUSTRALIAN WOOL (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, July 20. The British Wool Federation passed a, resolution pledging the members not to buy wool in Australia, unless the draft allowance stands, and have cabled intsructions to that effect to their buyers in Australia. MELBOURNE, July 22. The Chamber of Agriculture rejected a recommendation that a levy of sixpence be imposed on each bale of wool sold in Australia, to establish a fund for the protection and development. of the industry, but passed a. motion for a national conference to devise a. method of marketing Australian wool to the best advantage.
