LOSS OF SUMATRA
“A NATIONAL DISASTER.” (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) MELBOURNE, July 11. Tn the House of Representatives the Prime Minister (Mr Bruce) announced that the Ministry had asked the New South Wales Government to hold an enquiry into the sinking of the Sumatra, and was awaiting the result. They regarded the loss as almost a national disaster.
