CROQUET
ANNUAL GALA DAY
Great interest centres round the annual gala day of the Makura- Croquet Club, to be held next Saturday. Numerous entries have been received for the bowling tournament, and some good play is expected. For the croquet competition many entries have been received. This is a favourite competition with all lovers of sport, as non-players have an equal chance with experienced players. The putting and target competitions will hold great interest for all, and will be keenly sought after. A produce stall will be erected on the grounds lor the sale of fresh vegetables and cakes. Afternoon tea will be provided by members of the club, llay starts at 1.30 p.m. Entrance at gate 1/.
