BAND CONTEST
RUNANGA SUCCESSFUL. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, February 21. The Band Contest was continued today, the solos being disposed of during the day, and the B Grade Test Selection at night. The aggregate in the latter was won by the Runanga Municipal Band, with Christchurch Tramways second. The following are the results: — B flat Cornet Solo (open).—H. F. Vincent (Wellington Watersiders), 96pts, 1; II . J. T. Osborne (First Canterbury Mounted Rifles), 95pts, 2 ; G. Christie (St. Hilda), 94pts, 3. Also competed : W. G.
