COAL MINERS’ DISPUTE.
SYDNEY, February 1. As a. consequence of the Chairman of the Coal Tribunal informing the representative of the Victorian miners that the Tribunal had no power to deal with the dsputc at Wonthaggi, the representatives of the miners 'intimated that the strike would probably be extended to another State in order to make an inter-State dispute, and so come within the Tribunal’s jurisdiction.
