Ono of the season’s best productions from every standpoint is “Her Social Value,” a First National attraction starring Miss Katherine MacDonald at the Opera House on Friday and Saturday. The feature depicts the adventures of Marion Hoyte who presides over the destinies of a glove counter in a large department store. She makes the acquaintance or a young society man, who saves her from arrest on an unwarranted charge, marries him, and thus moves up into a higher strata of society. Her husband quickly learns that there is a penalty for marrying outside his set. Fearful that she will be the cause of his ruin, the young wife manoeuvres to obtain a divorce by a clever method. Ivan Linow, cast in the role of Captain Peterson, otherwise known as “Hands and Feet” in the Thomas Meighan Paramount picture ‘•GappyRicks,” which will be shown on Monday next, weighs 230 pounds, and is by profession a wrestler.
