GIBRALTAR, January 30. Mr. Lloyd George and party, and leading Gibraltar and Algeciras officials witnessed a bull fight at Losbarrios. No bulls were killed or horses injured. The Governor of Algreiros toasted Mr. Lloyd George and the great nation of England. ITALIAN POLITICS. LONDON, January 30. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Rome correspondent states : —The Government has won warm approval of the whole country for the sweeping retrenchment reforms in administration. Premier Mussolini consulted the Liberal leaders, with a view to the re assembly of Parliament on February 6, and reached a definite understanding for a Liberal and Fascist! collaboration, and possibly a fusion, betokening the most stable Government Italy has had for many years.

A message from Melilla says that General Navarro and other high officers caphired by the Aloors on the occasion of the Spanish disaster last year, have been ransomed, and have arrived at Melilla. They were treated in the harshest manner during Jieir captivity. Navarro was employed carrying stones and other material for the constructon of roads and houses, and was chained to a wall at night, with an iron ring round his neck. A number of prisoners died from neglected wounds, and others succumbed to the bastinado.
