Taken at Greymouth at 9 a.m. tobay—Wind, north ; barometer, 29.84 ; thermometer, 65 ; tides, moderate ; bar, moderate swell. Rainfall Bpts. WEATHER FORECAST. The following is the weather forecast oi the Government Meteorologist for a period of 24 iiouia, from 9 a.m. to day • “The indications are for variable and strong breezes, but westerly winds strong to gale prevailing and backing by west to south after about 24 hours Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Rain probable. r>arometor falling. Seas rough amt tides good.”
