Morris (Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department) has received a message from the Radio Station at Awanui as follows: —“Cape Maria Van Diemen advises that the scow Ilaere is ashore seven miles south from t’ne lighthouse- All hands are safe. The vessel is high and dry on the beach, and is undamaged. There is every chance of getting her afloat.’’ WILTSHIRE SALVAGE. AUCKLAND, June 24. A cablegram received by Lloyds’ agents states the tenders of G. C. Wright, of the London Salvage Association, for salvaging the cargo from the Wiltshire, have been accepted. The amount of the tender is not disclosed. The consignees will have the first opportunity of taking (he salvaged cargo.
