MILK EXPERIMENT. LONDON, June 17. The interesting experiment of bringing milk from South Africa has resulted successfully. The milk was sterilised to 300 degrees Fahrenheit by a Danish process, at Pietermaritzburg, and was carried in the steamer’s coolroom. It was landed in London five weeks afterwards in perfect condition.
PRIEST’S TRIAL. OTTAWA, June 17. At the trial of Father Delorme for murder, witnesses testified that Delorme defied the Church authorities treating them as underlings, and was ruthless towards the tenants on his property.
