’ PEKIN, May 31. I President Hsu Shi Chang, in announcing that he does not intend to obstruct China’s progress, declared his willingness to resign in the interests of tho .unification of the country, provided Parliament assembles first, in order not to leave the country without a Government and a head. It is understood that Wu Pei Fu in- * tends to use the President’s offer as an inducement to Sun Yat Sen to do I likewise, thus securing . the speedy I union of north and south.
