MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE RESULTS. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Thaddeus Doody was arrested this morning on a charge of manslaughter. It is reported that Doody 7 and John O Neill, both single labourers, engaged in a fight last night in the street at Rangiora, and that the latter was arrested for drunkenness and taken to the police station, wheie he complained of his head being sore. On medical advice, 0 Neill was taken to the Christchurch Hospital, but died shortly after being admitted. Doody appeared before the Court this morning and was remanded, bail being allowed.
