At Treniham this morning all work was done on the outside course proper which was in good order. Insurrection and Kick Off went once round, taking 1.43 2-5 for the last mile. Quest and Scion together covered a mile in 1.43 2-5, the former finishing some lengths in front. Basso ami Reset took 1.17 to cover six furlongs. Halifax beat Coalition over six furlongs in 1.18. Esperance rattled off seven furlongs in 1.30. Capping Dav beat Canyon over six furlongs in 1.18 2-5. Pi intemps, Island and Alartial Dawn finished in that order over seven furlongs in 1.31. Backsheesh and Te Kuri sprinted over five furlongs in 1.2 4-5. Alooiistruck and Black Head covered five furlongs in 1.3 1-5-Princess Pat, assisted by Kilroe and Rimutaka over the last five furlongs, left seven furlongs behind in 1.30 3-5.
