POLLARD'S PICTURES. To-night at the Opera House Pollard’s will present the final screening of the delightful comedy -‘Nineteen and Phyllis.” On Sunday evening a special Metro production of the greatest of New York’s stage plays -‘The Misleading'Lady,” will present t'iie famous actor Bert Lytell in a wonderful case man picture. Bert Lytell has appeared in a number of screen productions, and in none has he failed io impart a brilliant' atmosphere through his characterisations. It. is said that in this picture he surpasses even his previous efforts and they were exceptionally good. “WHILE THE BILLY BOILS.” On to-morrow Friday and Saturday evenings and at the matinee On Saturday afternoon, Beaumont Smith will present in picture form Henry Tawson’s famous Australian work ‘‘WTule the Billy Boils.” The people who have read Henry Lawson’s “While the Billy Boils” are countless. This collection of stories ranks among tlio classics, and it is said that the film translation of the book enhances the gi'fted Australian author’s work. Tn “While the Billy Boils” the real men and women of Lawson’s stories tell their joys and sorrows, and work out their simple destinies in environment and conditions that are true to the most minute detail. The leaven of romance that runs through the lives of the hardy pioneers who have advanced their outposts to the borderlands of the Nover Never is delightfully portraved in the character of young Jim Wall—a born dreamer and poet, and yet withal a manly, vigorous, tynical Ausiralian who exemplifies in his physical and mental makeup the qualifies that go far Mwards making those real men of the bush the tvne Australia is so justly proud of.- Bollard’s orchestra will supplv appropriate selections for screening of Beaumont Smith’s big Australmn <Bm production.
