GREB DEFEATS GIBBONS. I Australian and N.Z. Cable ■Association. NEW YORK, .March 13. Harry Greb defeated Tim Gibbons to-night in a. bout scheduled for fifteen rounds. This came as a surprise to the boxing experts, who had unanimously prophesied that Gibbons would win tiie fight. The result is considered to be important, for many believe that the winner will be given an opportunity of meeting Dempsey for the championship. At least the winner will probably meet Carpentier in the near future, when the next opponent for the champion is likely to be chosen.
