DOMINION REGATTA. (Per Press Association.) I AVANGANUI, Alarch 11. The New Zealand Championship Regatta took place to-day on the "Wanganui River in line weather, and before a large crowd. Results; — Maiden Fours.—Canterbury 1, Wanganui. Union 2, AVanganui 3. started: AVellington, AVellington Star,' Aramoho, Clifton, and Petone. AN on by 10 lengths. Junior Double Sculls. —Christchuich Union 1, AVellington 2, AVanganui Union 5. Also started : Aramoho, AVanganui. 'A close finish. Champion. Fours. —AVanganui I ifion 1. AVairau 2, Hamilton 3. Also started : AVaitemata Union led all the way, and won by six lengths. Alaiden Sculls.—AVanganui Union 1, Aramoho 2, AVanganui Union 3. Also started: ClilTon, Wanganui, Canterbury. AVest End. AVon comfortably. Youths’ Fours.—Wellington 1, AN angaiiui Union 2, AA T hangarei 3. A fine race. AVon by three-quarters of a length, Champion Single Sculls. —AN anganui Union (A. Sharpe) 1, NNellington 2. AVon easily by three lengths* Junior Fours.—NN anganui I uion 1, Aramoho 2, AVanganui and Star had mishaps. AVon by six lengths. Junior Single Sculls.-—Aramoho 1, AVanganui Union 2. AVanganui 3. Also started: Clifton. The Manawaki man led all the way. In the Champion Pairs, six started, and there was a slashing race between AVanganui Union and Avon. It- wtis marred just at the finish by a foul. Christchurch Union got home first, but the umpire- has ordered the nice to be re-rowed. Alain Double Sculls. —AVanganui 1, Aramoho 2, AVellington 3. Also started : AVanganui. Junior Clinker Fours. —AAellingtnn Star 1, Christchurch Union 2. AN anganui Union 3. Also started: AN anganui, Clifton, Hamilton anil NN hangarei. Fine rowing was done by Star, who won by three lengths. Champion Double Sculls. —AN anganui Union (Sharp Bros.) 1, Hamilton 2, Avon 3. Also started: AVellington, Christchurch, L’t.iion, Aramoho. AN on by 12 lengths. Alaiden Pairs. —Canterbury 1. AVellington 2, AVanganui Union 3. AN on by six lengths. Aramoho and Star did not finish. Alaiden Fours.—North SJiore 1, Star 2, Aramoho 3.
