PEERLESS PICTURES. _ “The Bronze Bell” a Thos. FI. Ince production will be shown at the Peerless in the Town Hall to-night for the last time. “Drag Harlan,” starring William. Farnum will be shown on Friday and Saturday and at the matinee on Saturday. “Drag Harlan” goes back to the old days of the American War, when the bush life insurance was a quick gun hand."ln this picture Farnum has the “snakiest” gun hand in the West. He finds a dying ranch, owner named Lane Alorgan, who had been, ambushed by three, one of whom Drag has just killed. Alorgan gives Drag a map showing the location of a big gold deposit on "his property, and importunes him to look after his daughter, Barbara, who is in great danger. Harbin saves Barbara, but she is kidnapped by outlaws. How he rescues her and outwits the outlaws is thrilling in the extreme. “Drag Harlan” is reputed to be one of the most romantic and virile photo dramas ever graced by this popular star. Jackie Saunders plays opposite Farnum in the role of the cattleman’s daughter. The supporting items include Eddie Polo in “King of the Circus” and a 2reel Sunshine comedy “The Simp, featuring Al St. John.
