CROQUET

MAKURA CLUB. The season of the Makura Croquet Club will start with a handicap double for the junior players and a single for the senior players. In the junior match a senior player will act as umpire. The following is the order of play. Senior Division: —Mrs. Mabin plays Mrs. Wade, Mrs. Thomas plays Mrs. McKay, Mrs. Allison plays Miss Sheedy. Byes, Mesdames Griffen, Savwell, Tennent, E. J. Smith, and Fogarty. j unioF' Division :—Mesdames Topliss and Schaef play Mesdames Matheson and Scott. Umpires Mesdames Tennent and McKay. Mesdames Chalk and Miss Sotheran play Mrs. Clarke and Miss Pratt. Umpires. Mesdames Shallcrass and Smith. Mesdames Cribb and Hannan play Mesdames Baxter and Oxford. Umpires, Mesdames Thomas and Saywell. Mesdames O’Neil and Miss Mathioson a bye.
