Play was lively, but the speed and vim of the victors beat Batley all through. At half-time tho score was, Australasia fifteen points, Batley seven. The final score was, Australasia six goals one try. After six thousand spectators were seated, thousands of others broke down the gates and rushed the seats without paying.
