A large number attended the Columba Club euchre 'and dance held last night. The floor was in splendid order, and the music supplied by Miss Watson (piano) and Mr. Richardson (violin), excellent. The euchre prizes were won by Mrs. De Freitas, Ist; .mid Mrs. O'Connor, 2nd (ladies); and J. Greaney (gent's). During the evening supper was served. Wanted known—violins £5 10s, £7 10s to £l6, on sale at A. E. Kilgour s Piano and Music Dealer, Mawhera Quay.—Ad vt. The National Bank of Now Zealand is having .new handsome premises erected in Auckland, The new bank, of which a model has been prepared, is of six storeys in the front, and this is 'made of with a stone facade and marble trimmings.. The banking chamber, .which is situated at the back of the building, is roofed with a perforated barrel dome. Th s will give ample light in the chamber, in which all the counters, bill and accountants' offices are constructed in marble from the quarries at Takaka.
