Steer (Chairman), at last night’s meeting of the Greymouth Haro.me Board, when the Secretary read' a statement from the Chief Accountant of the Railway Department giving die return of revenue and expenditure for the month ending May 29th. The debit was £672, making a total debit to date of £1,605. The Chairman said that the total revenue was £3075 and the expenditure £3747, thus giving a debit balance of £572. Mr. Tennent: We want this matter ended or mended once and for all. I move that the Secretary make application as to- when the Bill would be likely to be read. Mir. McLean seconded. Mr. Tennent; The positon, so far as we are concerned is ridiculous. The motion was can led.
