NEW TEA ROOMS
OPENS TO-MORROW. The tea drinking habit among the community is steadily increasing and opportunities are given, all over the country for tea rooms, but only those of the most up-to-date character, and which embody all the improvements conceived for comfort, attention and exclusiveness, receive the largest share of the pubiic patronage. Everybody’s Tea Rooms embodies all the characteristics desirable and will open to-morrow Co supply a much felt want. In the seiction of wall-papers, casement-curtains and linoleums, Miss E. Gieseking, the proprietress, has shown very rare taste indeed. On entering the general tea room on the ground floor even the most sanguine is pleasantly surprised. The room measuring about forty feet square is set out with a tasteful colour effect, brown predominating. The front windows are draped with Madras casement in perfect keeping with a well thought-
out scheme. A cosy fire place puts the finishing touch on a well-lighted, well ventilated and charming general tea room. 'A bread and carpeted staircase . leads up to the second floor where two • rooms are situated, a smaller tea room, and a smoke room for gentlemen. Both these rooms are most comfortable and have been prettily . carried out. The walls of the three rooms are hung with a number of scenic pictures, and in all cases floral extension relieves the eye from the uniformity of the pretty brown wallpaper. The tea room on the second floor, which will be used for wedding parties, measures 20ft by 20ft, and the smoke room 20ft by 15ft. The servery upstairs is above the kitchen from whence orders will be dispatched upstairs by an up-to-date life at almost a second's notice. The furniture throughout is of a dark stained brown material. To-morrow “Everybody’s” will open and doubtless will prove a popular resort with the numerous country people who will visit town to sea the English footballers in action. The tea rooms will be open daily until 9 p.m. except on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings when it will remain open until 11 p.m. On all occasions
tea and cakes, beef tea, light refresh’* raents will be served. Cold lunch will be provided daily. Give “Everybody’s” a trial, after that you will give them your patronage.
