WORK RESUMED. WELLINGTON, This day.—Work was resumed on the Wellington water front to-day. The men did not answer the call yesterday owing to the rain. YOUNG MAN DROWNED. INVERCARGILL, August 10. —The police have been informed that a young man named Cox was drowned at Port Craig this afternoon while loading stores on to a launch. The body was recovered.
