The Polish Note to Russia says that Poland has been informed that tl i e Soviet Government stated that it would Avillingly accept a peace proposition direct from Poland, '.the latter, wishing to stop all bloodshed, as soon i.s jossible, proposes an immediate armistice and the opening of peace negotiations.

Renewed charges of official corruption involving' the Ministers Teakahash, Yamamoto, and Nakahashe, are resented in the Diet, which is demanding* a complete investigation, lest the consequences become serious. The ciifU'O'ps a*re accompanied by a commercial agencies' report showing' the shares held in the names of sons and wives of Ministers at the end of 1919 compared with the same shares in May, 1920. showing that the shares were sold prior to the recent slump.
