Mr. G. Woods, manager of the Aratika SawmillUig Co., left this morning for Sydney to visit his parents.

Mrs. W. 0. Ennis left for. Invercargill by this morning's Otira express to visit her mother, who has b?cn very ill for the past few days.

Mr.,E. C. Levvey, S.M., left by the express this morning for Christciiufcii enl route to Dunedih, where he has becm appointed magistrate.

. Messrs Shields and J. Wallace, who have purchased /Mr. W. O'Malley's roperty at Ikdmatua returned to Christchurchyby this morning's Otira express. • ,

Mr.- and Mrs. C. W. Cooke, of Cowper Street, leave for Christchurch on Tuesday morning. Tliey will make their home in the City of the Plains. They will carry with them the best of good wishes of a large circle of friends.
