(I'er Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tins Day. Most of the training work this morning was done on the plough. Sasanoff find Golden Bubble ran half a mile in 51 3-5. Mustard Pot and Mandrake left five furlongs behind in 1.3 3-5. Amythas was letter than Michael;* over seven furlongs in the smart time of 1.28 2-5. Sleepy Head beat Admiral Talbot over six furlongs in 1.17 2-5. Sedd el Bahr left seven furlongs behind in 1.29 4-5. On the outside course proper Winter Wind and Onslaught easily van sever, furlongs in 1.36 2-5, and Warlove ran nine furlongs in 2.2, clearing right away from Nightraider, who would not gallop. After breakfast Sunart ran a mile on the plough in 1.42 2-5. Arrowsmith took 1.16 4-5 for six furlongs, but was pulling hard all the way. Listening Post and Brackenfield finished together at the end of six furlongs in 1.18 1-5. Castellan beat Caliburn over six furlongs in 1.16 4-5. Some Kid easily got to the end of seven furlongs in 1.32 3-5. Fiery Cross, assisted over the last four by Strayshot, cut out seven furlongs in 1.28, finishing well. On the grass Gamecock cut out five furlongs up the back in 1.2. Yesterday's arrivals from the North were Sasanof, Golden Bubble, Taunaha Cashmere, Delight, Chrysostum, Caricature. Kohu. Tigritiya beat Humbug and Vagabond over five furlongs from the new post in 1.3 1-5.

Maiolia, on the outside all the way, pleased better than Bo Peep and Active over- p-iven furlongs in 1.33. Punka and Rose Queen finished together over seven furlongs in 1.35. Drftiedin sprinted four furlongs in 53secs. Cynic was better than Kauri King °vov a mile'from the new post in 1.42 3-5. KTiiHrmn and Tirau jumped four huvdless in p;ood stvle. TVkanui was withdrawn from the Brighton Hardies at 9.25 this morning.
