WANGANUI, This Day. The weather was fine for training work at Wanganui this morning.

Zola and Farce covered six furlongs • in 1.19.

Kilrush, Gazique and Ermine, on the outside trestles of the course proper, galloped a mile. Kilrush finished in front in 1.47.

Rose Queen finished in front of Dusky Eve over a mile in-1.48.

Taiamai went two miles at a good solid pace, and is very fit. Listowel beat Bestir over half a mile in 54secs,

Astinome covered five furlongs in 1.31.

Bon Spec took 1.3 for five furlongs. Kiliriom and Mascot sprinted the last th iv *s furlongs of a mile gallop. Snub was give half pace work.

AUSTRALIAN RACING. SCRATCHINGS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association) MELBOURNE, This Day. W. Lilleyman will ride Chrysolaiis in the Newmarket Handicap. Alnwich has been scratched for tho Newmarket Handicap. The scratchings for the Australian Cup are Clan Fingon, Earlborn, Court Jester and Rover.
